Plecarea de la spital

Deabia asteptam sa ajungem acasa cu noua venita in familia noastra.

We can hardly wait to get home with the new little one that came in our family and in our life.

Our dear sweet Emily, our life will never be the same. You changed it forever. And we are so happy for this. You are already such a joy for us and it is a real privilege to have you! And a privilege to be your parents and raise you. Thank you for filling our lives with even more joy than we had imagined.

EMILY ALINA LONG - Nov.27th 2006

Astazi, 27 Nov.2006 s-a nascut scumpa noastra fetita, muuult asteptata si iubita.

Emily cantareste 3.050 kg si are lungimea de 19 cm.

Nu ne vine sa credem ca avem asa o comoara. Emily, TE IUBIM!!!!!

La spital au venit Melisa, Tiana si Jill sa ne viziteze.

Our sweet little girl was born today Nov. 27th 2006.

Emily weighs 6 lb 12 oz and her lenght is 48 inches.

We can't believe we have such a treasure. Emily, WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

Melisa, Tiana and Jill came to visit us at the hospital. Thank you for all your help and support.

Gail's Tea Party

Gail a organizat o intalnire la o cafeluta sau un ceai, la noi acasa. Am avut un timp foarte frumos impreuna cu Gail, Linda Cormick, Dayla (& Marissa). In poza este Gail, Ivona cu Marissa in brate).

Gail hosted a tea-party at our house, while Mama wasn't supposed to getout or go for walks any more. So the four of us (Gail, Linda Cormicks, Dayla&Marissa and Ivona) had a very nice time together. Unfortunately we remembered about taking pictures after Linda left, so we don't have her in the picture, and Dayla was taking the picture.

Emily's first letter

This is Emily's first letter (email) she just got today, Nov.7th:

"Yes, Miss Emily,
I love your blog! I can hardly wait to see you and hold you and love you! It is going to be so hard to share you with your grandparents, but they are very important people who will have to love you from so far! I love getting to know your mommy and daddy more, too. And the little acrobat you are! We had so much fun watching you tumble around today! Don't feel like you have to hurry to join us in this world, but you are going to be one very loved little girl (and spoiled if this auntie has her way about it!!)

Making Baby's Announcements (Melisa and I)

'Matusa Melisa' a venit sa facem anunturile pentru bebelus. Este foarte bucuroasa si deabia asteapta sa o vada pe micuta Emily. Mereu a fost alaturi de noi.
'Aunty' Melisa came to make the baby's announcements. She is so excited about Emily's coming and can't wait to meet her. She has always been there to help us.

Dayla's Tea Party

Viitoarele prietene si prieteni ai lui Emily au venit in vizita cu mamele lor si am stat impreuna la un ceai si prajituri: Marissa cu mama ei Dayla, Joe cu mama lui- Beth si Samantha cu mama ei Ginny. Emily este mult asteptata de mici prieteni si prietene. Si sigur vor fi prieteni minunati, asa cum si mamele lor sunt.
Emily's future's friends came in a visit with their mothers and we had a little tea party, hosted by the guests. It was so nice to be together. Emily has many little friends that are waiting to have a new play mate. And they will surely be wonderful friends, just like their Moms are. This was a real treat, thank you Dayla, and thank you all for coming.

Primele pregatiri --- First Preparations

Ne pregatim sa devenim parinti. Aici e in prima zi de cumparaturi pt bebe. Ce bucurie! Si ce sentiment avem vazand aceste lucruri in casa noastra... nu ne vine sa credem ca in curand vom avea nevoie de ele.
Getting ready to become parents. This is the first day of baby shopping when poor (soon to be)Mama had to stay home in bed-rest while (soon to be) Daddy and Melisa did some shopping at 'BabiesR-Us'... Many thanks, Melisa!
What a wonderful feeling is to see baby things in our house, we can't imagine yet that we will need them... What joy even in these moments of anticipation!!!

EMILY - Prima ei poza ----- Her 1st Picture

Micuta Emily e inca in asteptare sa vada lumina zilei. Aici in poza de la ecografie este in a 4-a luna. Emily, esti o scumpa chiar si acolo in burtica, ne faci sa nu mai avem rabdare sa te vedem.
Little Emily is still waiting to see the daylight. Here is her 4th month ultrasound picture. Emily you are already so cute!!! Now we can't wait to see you!!!
