My 1st Birthday Party

I had my 1st birthday party yesterday, on Dec.1st. Even if I didn't know exactly what was going on, I felt the middle of attention and I had lots of fun. Thank you all for coming and for your presents.

Emily's 1st B-day Party

So much love from auntie Joyce!!! She would do anything for me! What more can I expect from an auntie... I love you too auntie Joyce!

Yes, Joyce does a lot for Emily and also for us. She was a great help and it meant a lot especially now that Emily's grandparents from Romania can't come. Unfortunately, Emily's grandpa just had lung surgery and now he is recovering. It wasn't easy but he seems to be doing well. We are all sorry for what happend so unexpectedly but wish him the best and that we could see them later here.

Thanksgiving

Mama is a little late with the Thanksgiving pictures. We had fun at my second cousin's Charlotte, and I loved playing with their puppy Angel.

My First Birthday

I turned one year old today. Everybody is excited but I just don't understand why. Why is this day special? Why do I have to wear this crown? Why am I a Princess? Why this ribbon? Why this nice dress when I am just ready to crawl?... Why am I sooo special for my parents and many others?
Anyway, Grandma and Graandpa from Romania are very happy to see 'their princess' on her 1st birthday (in pictures at least). They call me 'Little Princess', as I am the only girl among their grandchildren.

Am implinit un anisor astazi. Toata lumea e entuziasmata, dar eu chiar nu inteleg de ce. De ce e aceasta zi speciala? De ce trebuie sa port aceasta coroana? De ce sunt printesa? De ce am insigna? De ce am aceasta rochie frumoasa cand eu am chef sa merg in 4 labe acum? De ce sunt eu asa de importanta pentru parintii mei si multi altii?
Bunicii din Romania ma numesc "Mica Printesa" pentru ca sunt singura fetita intre toti nepotii lor si se bucura sa ma vada 'printesa' acum cand am implinit un an (in poze deocamdata)

I had a wonderful day today - in the morning Marissa visited me and we had fun together, and in the afternoon Melisa took me at their house and I had fun again. Tiana is a very good baby sitter.

Which Martini shall I have?!?! Looks like she settled on water!! (this is what Aunty Melisa said)

11 Months Old

I turned 11 months old and I also want to show you my first litle tooth, which came out a week before I turned 11 months. You can see too that the second one is "on the way". Mama is not worried that I have 'late teeth', because she thinks that the later a baby gets teeth, the healthier the teeth are. So we'll wait to see if that is true...

Playing with Tiana

Emily had a very nice time with Tiana today. Tiana played with her and 'spoiled' her, doing everything she wanted. See her here, treated like a little princess... Thank you Tiana for loving Emily so much! And thank you Melisa and Kent for such a good dinner and special evening, we really enjoyed being with you!

A Very Nice Evening With the Keddies

I love my Mommy... But first, she loves me!

Mothers can never explain how wonderful it is to have a daughter... Even if they are still babies and we can't chat with them as we'll do for sure later, we can still talk with them and especially in that language of love that is understood perfectly. It is a wonderful feeling ... ... ... And no words can explain it.

Welcome Daniel!!!

Daniel is the first one of the 4 babies in our group (field) who are going to come this year and January next year. Also in January Lelia and Adrian will have their first baby. Look forward to see all these babies.

A nice Sunday at Scholls'

Crawling and exploring everything!

Emily started to crawl on the day she turned 10 months old. Now she is all over the house, exploring everything. She has a lot of toys laying around alone in the middle of the room, but they don't apeal to her any more. She found other things much more interesting to DO.

I Turned 10 Months Old!

Mama can't wait my "birthdays", to dress me up and take pictures of me. Oh boys, what is she going to do when it is really my birthday? My first birthday coming up very soon. But the truth is that mama is sad because I grow too fast, and she always says that she is enjoying every moment of babyhood as much as she can.

Playing Again

This is how I play sometimes, right in the toy-box ;)
And when I get tired of toys, I reach for newspapers or other things on the couch. I know this is going to be something unnoticeble a little later, but right now everybody is excited to see me do new things, like reaching up and getting up by myself.
