Our Short Vacation at Leavenworth

We had a short vacation in Leavenworth and Chelan area. Here are some pictues of our trip and hike to the Silver Falls. Emily enjoyed every moment of it and was very disappointed when she had to return to her carseat... It was her first ride in the back carrier.
The Cashmiere Fair was a beautiful part of our vacation. (There was also an album of it here)
And the first time to stay at a motel as a family of 3.




This was actually our first trip with our new Toyota Siena van. Very comfortable!!! Wow, a lot of firsts in this vacation :-)

One of the many sweet moments spent with Auntie Joyce. She played with me and I've got lots of hugs and kisses. I thought that only Momy has this 'habit', but I see that aunties do it too. :-) Thank you very much for all, Auntie Joyce, I already miss you!

In the swiming-pool in the back yard

Emily had a lot of fun in her pool today. She enjoyed her toys but especially the water!!! She would never get tired of splashing the water even if it got in her eyes, ears, mouth etc.

This evening Gordon talked with Joyce on the phone and Emily kept reaching for the phone. So he put it on speaker so that A.Joyce could talk to her too. Even if Emily didn't say anything, she enjoyed it.

Convention

We had a wonderful time at convention. Emily enjoyed it too, especially the company of those little ones, "her size". She also had babysitters who were very happy to have her whenever was possible. It was funny that they waited for their turn sometimes :-)

Preparations...

We are doing preparations for Emily's little brother and we're putting his clothes in his drawer. Emily is a big help! :-)
It is so exciting to see those cute little BLUE things there... we aren't used to it.

We had a very nice time at Dayla's house. We were supposed to have a "Swim Party", but the weather wasn't on our side, because it was cloudy and it even rained a little... Some of us still went there and we had a nice time. First at Dayla's house and then to the pool, in spite of the weather. We had a nice "rainy swim".

The sleep is so sweet in the yard at Chelan!

A nap in the stroller is much better than in the crib (from Emily's point of view). Unfortunately, she never liked her naps nor the evening bed times. But she liked to fall asleep in the stroller or in the carseat.

Daddy thought that driving is so important, so the earlier, the better. :-)

Emily and Mama

I love these pictures that will always remind me of these undescribeable precious moments of playing with my baby.

Since Angi left, Emily spends more time with her parents. Here she is on the lawn in the back yard, watching Daddy working in the garden. Then on the floor with her toys or in the Bumbo chair on the counter, watching Mama in the kitchen.

Our New Baby

We are going to have a new baby and just found out it is a boy! We are sooo happy and can't wait to meet him!!! It was so exciting to see him at the ultroaound and hear his heartbeat. Such unforgetable moments!!! Emily was there too but fell asleep and missed seeing her little brother.

Vom avea un nou bebe si tocmai am aflat ca va fi baiat. Ne bucuram mult de tot si deabia il asteptam!!! L-am vazut la ecografie si i-am auzit inimioara... momente de neuitat. A fost si Emily acolo, dar a adormit si nu l-a vazut pe fratiorul ei care se misca de zor.

A venit si clipa despartirii. Vrem sa iti multumim inca o data Angi pentru tot ajutorul tau si sa stii ca o sa iti simtim lipsa mult!!!

What a desperate look!... now she seems to realize that Angi is really going. "Please come again" she seems to tell her. Emily waved good-bye for the first time.

Ce privire disperata!... acum pare sa realizeze ca Angi chiar pleaca. "Te rog vino din nou" ii spune aici. Emily a facut cu mana pt prima data.

A very nice time with our guests

We had a very nice time with our guests. Samantha, Joe and Emily had a lot of fun together. Thank you all for coming! It was fun for the mothers too, as all 3 are expecting the second child.

Am avut un timp foarte frumos cu musafirii nostri. Copiii s-au bucurat mult sa se joace impreuna. Toate trei mamicile asteapta si al doilea copil, dupa cum se vede... :-) (la diferenta de o luna una de alta)
