Draga Bunica si Bunicu

Uite ca a trecut o luna deja de la aniversarea noastra (a lui Bunica si a mea) de data trecuta, cand am fost impreuna. Imi pare rau ca de data asta am fost singura aniversata din casa. Imi amintesc cu mare placere de timpul cand erati aici, cand am fost cam rasfatata. Dar ...de... asa se cade unei printese, nu? Imi amintesc cand bunica imi facea baita, si ce imi mai placea, sau cand statea cu mine pana la miezul noptii cand eu nu aveam somn sau aveam colici. Imi amintesc cand bunicu se plimba cu mine in brate pana adormeam, sau cand iesea cu mine la plimbare. Multe lucruri imi mai amintesc eu!
Acum ma bucur ca au verisorii mei din Romania privilegiul sa va aiba acolo, sunt si ei niste scumpi si merita asta. Transmiteti-le ca ii iubesc chiar daca nu ii cunosc, si deabia astept sa ii intalnesc.

Emily is 3 months old today and she plays for the first time with a toy, then falls asleep with it.
Thank you Bob, for this toy! Bob Anderson found this dolly after a Gospel Meeting and he couldn't find the owner. He gave it to us as he knew we were expecting a baby, even if we didn't know yet if it was a boy or a girl. But Bob anticipated it, haha.

I miss you so much and I often remember you as you were holding me in your arms, as you were walking me and talking with me. I still can hear your gentle and calming voice and wish you were here again. Why Tanti Alina doesn't live in Seattle? Everybody would be very happy then!!! This swing is such a good thing for Emily and everybody. She loves it and sleeps in it. We don't need to rock her to sleep anu more, this does a good job too. Well, it doesn't mean that we won't do anything any more :-)). Thank you Ginny for letting us use it for a while.

My First Story

This is the first time Daddy reads a story for me. It's "Goodnight Moon" ...he thinks I might go to sleep easier this way. I am doing better though, I fall asleep at 1.30-2 am instead of 3-4 am.

I did enjoy the story, daddy! But most of all I loved being in your arms.

Bunicu -- Grandpa

Grandpa has his magic touch, he knows how to put me to sleep, and I love when he "dances" with me, as he says, the sleep comes easier. And, even more! Mama likes it too!!! Ha ha!

Bunicu' chiar are talent sa ma faca sa adorm, ii place sa "danseze" cu mine (asa cum zice el) pana adorm. Si nu in ultimul rand, si lui Mama ii place!!!
